Reporting a problem
Please include your phone model, Android version, the app version (Settings, About) and the steps that lead to the problem. A screenshot helps. Turn on privacy mode before taking it if you don't want to show your amounts. Never send us passwords, exchange API keys or seed phrases: Coin52 never needs them.
Common questions
A price doesn't update or shows «Needs updating». Prices come from the public Binance and Bybit APIs, so the app needs an internet connection. Tap «Refresh prices». If the exchange has no USDT pair for the coin, choose the other exchange or enter the price manually.
Can I use any coin? Yes, if it has a USDT spot pair on Binance or Bybit. For other coins you can enter prices manually.
A coin has no logo. Turn on «Download missing logos (optional)» in Settings. It's off by default because the logo service sees the coin's ticker and your IP address.
How do I move my data to a new phone? In Settings, under «Data and network», tap «Create a backup» and save the file. On the new phone, tap «Restore from backup» and choose that file. Backup files are not encrypted, so keep them somewhere safe.
I restored the wrong backup. In Settings, tap «Return to data before the last restore».
Reminders don't arrive. Check that notifications for Coin52 are allowed in your phone's settings and that the reminder is turned on in the plan's details. Reminders only work for active plans, and the system may deliver them a little late.
App lock is gone. App lock uses your phone's screen lock. If the screen lock is removed, Coin52 turns its lock off; set up the screen lock again and turn the app lock back on in Settings.
How do I delete all my data? You can delete plans and purchases one by one in the app. To delete everything at once, clear Coin52's storage in your phone's app settings or uninstall the app. The developer holds no copy of your data.
Does Coin52 buy crypto for me? No. Coin52 plans and records purchases; you buy on your own exchange. The app doesn't connect to exchanges or wallets.
