Coin52 privacy policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Coin52 is a planner for buying crypto with the 52‑week challenge. It is made by Levia Star, Ukraine. This policy explains what data the Coin52 app handles and what this website handles.
In short
- No account and no sign‑up.
- Everything you enter (plans, purchases, amounts, settings) is stored only on your device.
- The developer does not collect, receive or sell any data from the app.
- The app has no analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking tools.
- To show prices, the app requests public market data from Binance and Bybit. These requests contain only the trading pair, for example BTCUSDT, and a date range for historical prices.
Who is responsible
Levia Star, Ukraine, the developer of Coin52. Contact: coin52@leviastar.com.
Data stored on your device
- Plans: names, coins and their shares, contribution mode, amounts and start dates.
- Recorded purchases: dates, amounts, prices and coin quantities.
- Settings: theme, language, privacy mode, reminders and app lock.
- Last known prices, downloaded coin logos and the milestones you reach.
- A copy of your data from before the last restore, so you can undo a restore.
- Temporary files you are sharing (see «Backups, exports and sharing»).
This data stays in the app's private storage, and the developer has no access to it. You can delete individual plans and purchases in the app. All app data is deleted when you uninstall Coin52 or clear its storage in your phone's settings.
Network requests
The app connects to the internet only for the following.
Prices. The app requests prices from the public Binance market data API (data-api.binance.vision) and the public Bybit API (api.bybit.com). A request contains the trading pair and, for historical prices, a date range. It contains no amounts, quantities, plan names or identifiers. Like any internet request, it reveals your device's IP address and the standard technical name of the app's network library. Binance and Bybit process this under their own privacy policies. Coin52 is not affiliated with Binance or Bybit. You can always enter prices manually.
Coin logos (optional, off by default). If you turn on «Download missing logos (optional)» in Settings, the app downloads logos it doesn't already include from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), a public content delivery network. The request contains the coin's ticker, and jsDelivr sees your IP address. Downloaded logos are stored on your device and stay available after you turn the setting off.
The app makes no other network requests. Links in the app's About section open your browser or email app.
Permissions
- Internet: prices and, if you turn them on, coin logos.
- Notifications: contribution reminders. They are created on your device; no notification server is involved.
- Run at startup: restores your reminders after the phone restarts.
- Biometrics: the optional app lock. Fingerprint or face recognition is done by your phone's system; the app only learns whether unlocking succeeded and never gets biometric data.
The app doesn't ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos. It only opens a file you choose yourself in the system file picker.
Backups, exports and sharing
- A backup (JSON) or an export of your contributions (CSV) is created only when you ask for it, and saved only where you choose: in the system file picker or through the share sheet.
- Backup and export files are not encrypted. Anyone who has the file can read your plans and amounts, so keep it somewhere safe.
- Milestone cards (images) leave the device only when you share or save them. In privacy mode the amounts on them are always hidden.
- Temporary copies made for sharing are kept in the app's cache and removed automatically: images after 1 hour, backup and export copies after 24 hours.
- The app opts out of Android cloud backup, so the system doesn't upload its data to your Google account. If you use your phone's device‑to‑device transfer when moving to a new phone, that tool may copy app data to the new device.
App stores
If you install Coin52 from an app store, the store operator (for example, Google for Google Play) processes data under its own terms, such as your installs and technical crash and performance statistics collected by the system. The developer can see only aggregated statistics that the store provides.
Age
Coin52 is intended for adults (18+).
